Would you like to sponsor a child in BALI?

A small amount of money per month will educate a child or teenager, giving them the opportunity of a better life.

Here are some details about the village.

Tulamben is a small village at the foot of Mount Agung situated on the north east shore of Bali.

The living conditions are very, very poor.

The soil is mainly lava and there is very little rain , A previous project to drill for water to provide a well has been unsuccessful.

Now we have started a new project to drill for water which we hope will be successful with a well this will enable the village to have water for drinking and cooking and also enable them to grow food for themselves.

We have been in consultation with the head of the village, teachers and members of the education committee.

Since our education project commenced ,we have been able to select 100 children from the most deprived areas. Although the school does not possess many of the facilities that we take for granted ,the children are happy and keen to learn.

Elementary school US$ 10 per month

Junior High school US$ 30 per month

Senior High school US$ 40 per month

If you would like to sponsor a child per month or per year it is entirely up to you,
and you can stop any time you like.

We will select a child for you to sponsor or when you visit the village you may select a child yourself. You will then receive the name and address and photograph of the child you are sponsoring.
If you wish to sponsor more than one child you are more than welcome to do so.
